Had we found the bus in the beginning of our four-day stay, we would have saved ourselves a lot of time walking back and forth from the ferry terminal but ultimately, the Resort gave us what we needed; a good kitchen in which to make the meals supplied by the nearby supermarket, a reasonable bed and the autonomy to come and go as we pleased.

Wonderfull resort. We rentes an apartment at Resort del Lago, and it was absolutely wonderfull. Clean, spacious and tastefull. The staff was very nice and helpfull.
The resort is situated near a public beach, a supermarked and a lovely resturant called Rossi et Rossi, where they serve an amazong pizza!

Perfect "small" place, with fully equiped apartments. We stayed here for 3 nt. Booked it 2 days before arrival. They do call us for specific checkin on the day.
Its a perfect situated in the small town of Rivatello, very close to Desenzano 20 min walk. We like the room we get, since we were traveling with our 2 kids, and we had a 2 room apartment with a lot of space,.

Un bel posto. I first came to Desenzano in May with a tour group. I loved the area and wanted to return on my own and had originally booked with Residenza di Sogno.
They informed me they were closing for repairs about a month before I was supposed to arrive. Fortunately for me, a friend recommended Resort del Lago and I was able to book 5 nights there.
I couldn't have been happier. Although I speak Italian, the staff speaks English very well and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need.
The apartments are located in a safe residential neighborhood withing 5 minutes walking distance to the town of Rivoltella on the lake.
They are clean, spacious and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook. The description and photos of the the apartments and lists of the ammenities on their website was accurate.
I was pleased to find everything exactly as described. There is a nice smaller store in Rivoltella to buy groceries or you can walk about 10 minutes to a larger supermarket in Desenzano on Via Michelangelo just past Villa Maria.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk down to the city of Desenzano for a larger variety of shopping, restaurants, and bars. It is a pleasant stroll along the lake.
Of course the port in Desenzano is where you can arrange travel by boat to other places on the lake. Taxis service is easy to arrange for those who prefer not to walk.
I recommend Resort del Lago to anyone looking for a great value in a great location. Date of stay: November Value. Sleep Quality.
